Can we get avatar pics on the mobile site?

I’m terrible with names I’m a person who recognizes people with their avatar
I hate that the mobile version of the site does not have avatars
It would be a huge improvement to the cell phone version of the site

I disagree.

we have played around with some looks for mobile that included avatars, but didn't care for how it looked...wasn't very clean look.

I think keeping the forums efficient is more important and too much screen real estate would be taken up by the avatars to be worth it.
One thing that I would like to see on mobile would be access to the emoticons without having to memorize the code. I’m envisioning a button below the quote button with a pop up menu to select your emoticon. Chicken can you add that to your todo list?
