not trying to piss ya off, i thought you were wanting to see them. Also i just google searched "daily teacher tigerdroppings" and first 4-5 links were there with those titles... but again man, i dont care about that. Justt wondering what to do about our threads, So your saying we can make fitness workout threads as long as it dont day "daily"? Im just trying to get some clarification on how we should go about it if we would like to discuss some fitness

What is wrong with the existing threads?
Posted on 2/3/15 at 2:39 pm to TigerFred
..there aren't any not anchored?

Thats what im here asking man... they are all being anchored! No clue why. They all stay on topic, there is no "circle jerking" or bullshitting in them about other junk. Just some guys talking about workouts/daily routines and diets. Just looking for some clarification ok what we can do to keep from being anchored "and me getting private mesg telling me not to make another daily fitness thread"
if it were an IM thread i wouldnt had even made this post on the help board, i know better. But its far away from that

Same problem with most long threads like that. (a) New people don't want to jump into page 50 of a weeks- or months-long discussion. They are more likely to participate in a weekly (or daily) thread. (b) It's easier to keep track of what's going on in shorter threads.
My two cents.
ETA: I guess I'm missing the issue. Do you want all fitness questions contained in one long thread - i.e., the P90x thread?
ETA2: I guess the more direct question is, where do you want fitness discussion contained?

Which one does a weekly workout thread violate?

thats my thing. Where can i post them. How do i need to word them. can i not do one daily or weekly. Why is the discussion frowned upon? Nothing in the guidelines i have read that it violates. Just need clarification

this thread makes me want to give up on lifting

Can I start a Crossfit 2015 In game thread?
The open workouts will start getting released in 3 weeks and a shitload of people will be doing them and posting scores/times.

tigerdroppings against healthy living?

They got anchored.
We were using meaningless threads that get started everyday as an example (teacher-student..). Obviously those aren't "daily" threads. We're trying to figure out the best way to go about this.
My opinion is that a weekly thread is too long, like was said earlier, people aren't going to post in a 10 page thread.

Fred, I know my opinion doesn't matter, but that's a bunch of bullshite
