Anyone ever done these?
If you have, am I a sissy for buying a foam pad? The yoke cuts into my arms enough to leave blood speckles when I get over 250 and it limits my weight. I figure better to look like a sissy and try to push heavy, right?

You don't deserve your username.

Look man, I didn't get this username for nothing. To acquire it, I had to demonstrate that I had both internet access and an email address.
Impressed? I hope so.

The pain will go away after a while and you will get used to them.

Yeah, I figured that. I'm popping capillaries right now.
I figured I'd use the pad in offseason training and if I need to compete, just phase out to go to bar only so I'm ready for the pain.
Basically I'm trying to plan similar to how I use straps relative to grip. Use them to alleviate some of the wear and tear and build muscle, then drop them out to prep for raw comp level stuff.
