Working out at the beginning of a fast

I usually try to do 16/8. I eat from 7am to 3 pm. With work and my gym on reduced hours I cant get to the gym before work. Does anyone have an opinion on working out after my feeding window is up? I work out from about 415-515 pm. Do I just down a post workout protein shake on lift days, stay strict on non lift days?
Yes I know I can change my eating window, however this is what I found works for me.

Why not just move your window from 10:00am - 6:00pm?
Sounds like it’s not working anymore. Your body will adjust to the new window after a week or so.

Carbs / protein should definitely be consumed before and after workout, so just change your eating schedule

Why does your last meal have to be at 3pm?

It doesn't HAVE to be at 3pm.

Let me ask it this way.
Which is better, workout fasted immediately followed up by your eating window?
Or workout at the end of your eating window, have a post workout protein shake, and the fast will only be 14 hours instead of 16?

Probably this, but the difference between a 14 and 16 hour fast is minimal.

I prefer to eat after working out but that’s just me.

It's best to work out fasted. The preference is 24 hours and then workout and then eat.

I thought I liked working out fasted. I've been pushing hard and found I just ran out of gas. So I swapped and started working out fed. I could push harder than I had planned on and my workouts simply got better.

If you feel eating all of your calories pre workout gives you the best results then stick with it. Total calories in a day is more important over when.
