Yes, I'm aware that most of these end of as a waste of money, but got to keep the misses happy (she out earns me by almost double ). I've tried looking on the secondary market, but most are in rough shape. I'm going to try a couple of fitness stores near me just to see if they have any options. Trying to keep the price at $1000 or less. Here are the ones I've seen as options:

Nordictrack T 6.5S

Horizon T101

I have a Nordictrack not sure if it’s the same model but it looks similar.

We like it just fine it doesn’t feel like a commercial machine but works just fine. I use it occasionally and can do sprints and jog on it. It is about 4 or 5 yo and still works fine. I like the buttons On the side for quick speed changes. The deck tilts up if needed to free up a little floor space. Only negative I really have on it is that the belt will slip a little with me on it and running sprints.

I have the Nordic Trak and it is great. I’ve had people come over and use it and have bought one for themselves after using.

I just ordered the Horizon T303 but it hasn't shipped yet so I I'm pretty useless here.

I have a Nordic Track X11 from a few years ago. Mainly use it when weather bad or for hill work. I run 5-6 days a week and still only use the treadmill a few times a month...but I knew that going in. Treadmill is great btw, the incline can go STEEP

Got my Horizon T303 in this week. Took 30-45 mins to setup. It is very solid and quiet! Not bulky either like some of the equivalent ones on the market. Love it so far. The cup holders aren't the best but that's the only negative thing I can say about it.

Ended up ordering the ProForm Smart Pro 5000. Unfortunately it won't ship until mid December. Probably paid too much and will ultimately be a waste of money, but oh well, it's what the wife wanted.
