A 600 pound conventional, raw deadlift or closing the GHP Level 10 gripper?
Some of you may know of the famous Captains of Crush grippers. Their #4 gripper is legendary, only 10 people or so have ever closed it. One of those being Magnus Samuelsson. The GHP 10 is about 20% harder than the CoC #4.
Opinions have been fairly even, some think the deadlift is better and vice versa. I think the gripper close is better.

Never heard of the gripper, but there are far more than ten people in the world who can DL 600 lbs.

I’ve deadlifted 550 at a competition. If I prepped harder I could have probably hit 600. I dunno what the gripper is tho.

In terms of world records, a 600 lb deadlift is not really impressive. The world record is over 1100 pounds. I don’t know what a gripper is. Have any video?
