What routes do you cycle?

Just purchased my first bike (Specialized Allez) and looking for spots to ride. I live off of Bluff Rd. in Prairieville right by Alligator Bayou so that will be my main route. I see bikes on River Road often and have heard about riding in/around St. Francisville. Where else do y’all ride?

join strava and look in segment search and they can show you popular ones in your area - or go down to your local bike shop and they will likely be able to give you some info

Alligator Bayou is the best place, one full loop in there from Bluff Road all the around is 15 miles. And with it starting to get hit the tree cover keeps it cooler. Plus the speed limit back there is 20mph so you you’re safer there than anywhere else in town. Also, River Road is a good ride on the weekends. And honestly at any time now bc nobody is on the roads.

Almost all trainer time, now. Got tired of almost getting run over.
