do any of y'all use wrist straps?
For press and bench, yes. I'm getting to the age where it takes very little for the joints to act up. The wraps keep things stable enough that I can concentrate more on the lift.

Weight belts aren't doing diddly shite for anyone who isn't an elite powerlifter or powerbuilder who is throwing around tons of weight.
Is there no end to your terrible takes?

I use this nike one since I lost too much weight for my old Harbinger buckle one to fit.
It is velcro, but I have had absolutely 0 issue with the velcro coming undone during a set. I love how easy it is to loosen after each lift and I can tighten it up really easily too.
Highly recommend this one if in the market for a Velcro belt.

Belts are useful, even just helping with bracing. No matter how long you have lifted, we all have days at the gym where aren't as focused and get a sloppy. I don't use a belt often, but when I do it does help keep everything tight.
Before you go belt I would start with bodyweight and very light weight and focus on form, form, form and flexibility and mobility.

I just need some extra support while working out at home. I have been dealing with my lower back hurting on and off since July and I am finally feeling good enough to exercise again.

Get a 3" double ply non-tapered leather belt with a single prong in the buckle.
Yes. And yes you need a belt.

I use a 10MM leather lever belt made by Gym Reapers. I find it does make a significant difference in my squats.
