What are the thoughts on Creams vs Injections and do creams come with less side effects? or more?

Also, what is the recommended supplement to combat DHT conversion? Hair loss/man boobs?

Thanks

I've done em both. I felt better on the injections personally. It's different for everyone though. I felt like the creams didn't give me enough urge, if you know what i mean.

you are not going to get man boobs from trt level doses. you dont need anything to combat estrogen 99 times out of 100.

creams suck

and what side effects?

only side effects are smaller balls(which is a good thing, makes your dick look bigger) and that can be negated with hcg if you wanted

other would be slight water retention for some. but at trt doses and a decent diet, that is rare

creams dont work all that well, can rub off on the family causing issues, and dont absorb that well.

injections are easy, relatively painless and there are very few side effects if you stay at trt dosages.

Everything lsu777 said...

I just hit 1 year on TRT. I've felt the best I have ever felt this year (40 years old).

The only negative I felt was the initial weight gain and bloatedness (Is that a word?) but that all leveled out. In the year I gained ~25lbs but my Inbody results have been great. Increase in lean muscle mass and decrease in body fat percentage.

All that to say go with the injections. If you have low T, you won't regret it but make sure you are committed long term.

Only reason to do cream is if you’re afraid of needles. Applying cream 2 times a day is more of a pain in the arse than the 1-2 injections a week.

clean up your diet and drink more water would be the first thing i would tell you.

but let me ask, how are you noticing water retention?

yep that would be other thing, are you doing big doses spread way out or much smaller doses more frequently.

also what is your current BF% because higher it is, the more estrogen you will produce.

100 2x a week

feeling bloated and i can definitely see it in mym face. i had it under control when i was 90 2x a week but Dr upped my numbers recently.

still have some body fat but down 25lbs since July. tried to not take anastrozole as much just because i noticed mood swings the day after.

ill work on diet a little more and water intake, was told less carbs would help too

I guess Injections just isn't for me. I'm damn near done for a week or more after an injection. Damn injection site so sore i couldn't stand it.

thats just because its new

try this, put small amount of water in a cup and get it really hot in microwave

let vial sit in the water, making sure the water is only about half way up the vial

after the oil is hot, draw and then switch to a 27g 1" needle. inject into glute, slowly. very slowly.

after, message the area. If possible do this before a leg or glute workout. if not, sit on a heating pad for 30 min

other thing is, do more frequent injections so you use only small amounts.

or you can try subq injections every other day. very small amounts

keys-
1) inject slowly
2) make sure oil is warm before injection, hotter the better. can use hair dryer too, to heat oil
3) use 27 gauge needles if IM injection
4) inject more often, but much smaller amounts
5) work the muscle after injection or use heat plus message to disapate the oil

Not trying to hijack, but…
Look into subcutaneous injection, twice weekly.
