work 12 hours a day at a desk. I get off work and taking care of the twin 2 year olds until it's time to put them down at 8p. At that point I'm emotionally exhausted.
Excuses, I know.
God Bless you. Unfortunately, you are probably going to stall. I went through the same thing. I felt super full eating 1200 cal per day. It became very easy. Then, I hit a wall and there was nothing left to cut. I have been on a keto break for a few months now. I keep it low carb (under 80) on most days and enjoy myself when I want to . I am hovering around 235. I started around 265 and want to get to 205-210. I know when I get back into it after Christmas, the remaining pounds will melt off. Good luck with your journey.

I highly recommend that you enjoy Rebel ice cream, but not an entire pint in one sitting, unless you want some explosive diarrhea for some reason

You ever tried red wine before bed? Only 4 carbs in a glass and the resveratrol can aid in weight loss.

Have you found the new flavors? I haven’t seen them at any BR stores yet.

I just started doing keto. I read somewhere that some people get the “keto flu”. Is this true and how long do you have to be doing keto to get it?
Also, if it is real, can someone describe it to me because I feel like shite

The cookie dough is not bad at all. Really want to try that raspberry swirl and cherry chip, may have to get them shipped though from the website though.
I've never ordered from the Rebel website, anyone have experience with that? I'm hesitant because of how often I have to travel and how hot it is where I live.

It is real and it’s lack of proper hydration. Look at the OP and make the ketoaid. Drink it and water like it’s your job.

Wife and I never got it, but she got Keto itch. Her whole body was itching and a reaction to carb removal. Online solution for it was to add some carbs until itch is gone. One time thing, she is good now.

Thanks. I have noticed that in the three days my mouth has been dry and I’ve been craving a shite ton of water. The advice is much appreciated

I got that too. It sucked. I just kept the hammer down and put cortizone cream all over me until it submitted.

It’s usually an electrolyte issue. Consuming more sodium & potassium will help. I mix Morton Lite Salt with water & Mio to make Ketoaid. Lite Salt has fairly equal amounts of sodium & potassium.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking this morning I just couldn’t drink enough water and all I’ve been doing is drinking water damn day!
I’m gonna have to try that ketoaid concoction

I just started Keto this week. My wife went on it to lose weight last week, and I decided to give it a go. I don;t want to lose weight, but I do want to maintain a lower fat percentage throughout the year, and I think it will help with my distance running and energy levels. My only concern is about losing muscle mass.
I've been in ketosis for 4 days. It only took me a couple of days to get there, probably because I run 50 miles a week, lift 5 days a week, and I was already lower card than most people. The diet has been surprising simple for me.
Day 1 in ketosis was hell. I went out for speed workout at 5:00 am and struggled to get through my last 6 repeats. I managed to complete my workout, but it was almost like I lost 2 months of fitness. Throughout the day, I felt mildly nauseated and lethargic. I had trouble focusing at work, and my stomach was all jacked up. I slept like crap that night. I thought about abandoning it that day but decided to give it a week.
I took Day 2 off from work due to not sleeping well the night before. My easy run was okay that morning. The rest of the day was similar to the first with periods of feeling better. Supplementing with coconut oil and pink Himalayan salt seemed to help.
Day 3 was much better. Mild nausea was nearly gone, and my gut was back to normal. I made it though most of the day before feeling tired again and was able to do an hour of heavy weights that evening.
Day 4 is today. My 10-mile run this morning felt good. So far, I feel "normal." I think I may have made it past the keto flu. I plan to taking some exogenous ketones tomorrow morning before my lactate threshold run.
