I did STYKU today at Spectrum and it showed a vastly higher BF% than when I do the inbody machine at Red Lerille's... I took both tests about 2 weeks apart. My composition is 5'9 175. I know the STYKU is a 3D body scan and Inbody uses Bioelectrical impedance analysis. Anybody have any personal input on which is more accurate?

cant compare styku but I know inbody has been very close to dexa scans i have done in the past.

in the end though, all these machines, even dexa are really only good for identifying trends. Thats the biggest thing, dont freak over a single data point.

I use the inbody every 2-3 months for the past year and the trends are always extremely close and precise. Never had any real outliers. I decided to try STYKU since it's at my gym temporarily and it's saying I'm double my BF%

well in a couple weeks if you stay on diet very close, use the styku and make sure its showing a downward trend.

I haven't done an Inbody since September 11th. I'm scared because I know my BF% has gone up but its my own fault. I haven't kept my diet in check over the last month, but I'm back on track and will probably take one in a couple more weeks once I feel confident about how I look visually.
