Does any one have any stretches to do after I had a knee scope? It’s been over two weeks since my surgery and it’s hard to bend my knee due to stiffness. The quad is super tight as well as the tendons behind the knee.

Wearing a knee brace seems to help a lot but i don’t want to rely on one for the rest of my life.

You need to go see a physical therapist.

Sounds corny but I’ve gotten into herbal supplements lately and have noticed a difference

Take some turmeric and magnesium. You will feel relief in joints and inflammation

This/\. You'd do better talking to the Dr. who performed the surgery as opposed to a public internet board for advice.

I've had 4 surgeries over the years on knees, elbow and shoulder for things torn up and every one of them required some time in physical therapy to get mobility and strength back.

if you did no rehab after your surgery, you or your doctor made a big mistake.

now which one made that decision?

Forgot to add this in my original response. What you seem to be describing is the muscles atrophying and that will make it take longer to rehab.

The longer you go without using the leg like it should be used and walking around stiff legged or in a brace, the longer it will take to get mobility back.

Careful taking turmeric around surgery. It does increase bleeding risk. Probably more important to stop it early enough prior to surgery, but I'd also avoid it at least during the immediate post-op period.
