Some advice needed on my Programming

Sup fellas. I'm currently doing a keto/IF diet that I've been pretty successful at.
I've also just started strongman /madcow, but have gotten pretty interested in switching to lean gains. What are the pros and cons to lean gains over SM/madcow? And in regards to lean gains, I get the reverse pyramid, but what does the guy mean by amrap (I know as many rounds as possible), but how in a set are you doing "rounds"? If that sounds from left field disregard, it was in one of the descriptions I read.
Tia!

As many reps as possible.. Go to failure.

It's as many reps as possible. Both madcow and leangains are great programs, madcow is a little more regimented with the deloads and reps.
Leangains is more self regulating.
One of the main differences, is in the words of madcow himself, madcow was meant to be run during cycles of caloric surplus. It is much higher on the volume than the typical lg split Martin lays out.
Lg's rpt dependent style training was created to be run during deficit or surplus cycles. In your situation I would say go with lg rpt.
But if you are going to do lg and then do lg, diet and all with caloric and macro cycling.

So, where can I find some programming for LG. Strongman and Madcow took me 2 seconds of a Google search. LG just kind of has a couple of guidelines when I find anything on it.
For instance, for strongmans A workout I use 285 on squat and 230 on bench. With LG, On squat would I pretty much do a strip set of 315,225,135 and each to failure for the rpt?

Would it be a bad idea to use rpt with the workouts A and B, just instead of the 5x5, do the rpt on the 5x5 lifts and keep the 3x8 as is?

Do one or the other, don't bastardize a program.
Thanks.
