I like the Runkeeper app because it is free and I know how to use it. However, it kills my battery. My standard bike is about 1 1/2 hours and my standard run is about 45 minutes. My battery loses about 60% of its power during that time. Is this just how all of these apps work? Or does anyone know what settings I can change?

TIA

Make sure the app only has access to location services while you are using the app. It might be running gps constantly
