Yeah my post above was total bullshite, but not on purpose. Just showing my ignorance of rowing and misinterpreted what my rower had been telling me.

because world class rowers are going sub 15

sub 18 is good, but it isn't world class by any measure

I certainly hope you are not basing that off the concept "logbook" rankings

I can’t remember my time. But holding a 2:15 pace is tough for most. I was a good rower but I just overpowered it, I know I went 7:20 or so, I don’t think I broke 7

Agree. I picked up rowing in January with a relatively sedentary lifestyle before and was rowing 2000 with a 2:05 pace after about 2 months.
