Rear hip pain

Thera-gun hit hot spots on both sides of my rear hips. Pain runs laterally and seems pretty deep. I guess the next stop is the doctor, it’s starting to hurt from the bolsters from my car. Anyone had this?

IT Band? Went to the ortho and my right IT Band is short. Have to do stretches every day to try and length it.

i just got through a bout of piriformis muscle pain, im pretty certain from weighted squats. pain resonated from a very localized, quarter-sized spot deep in my lower butt cheek. After 4 sessions of dry needling its mostly gone

I have the same thing. It also slightly bruised at first. It runs almost to my waist.

i made 3 trips to a chiro who tried to massage it out, with no positive effect. try dry needling. youll likely have to call around until you find a chiro who administers it. it worked for me

I had something similar. I couldn’t walk it got so bad. Ended up with a cortisone shot and muscle relaxers + physical therapy for about a month. Turned out to be bad posture and too much tension in my quads and glutes. Now I have to make sure to stretch well 2 -
