Pinched Nerve muscle recovery

Anyone on here know about how long it takes for the muscle to start responding again after a pinched nerve?
Ive been dealing with one in my neck for the last 3 weeks and the pain is starting to go away but when I went to go workout I could barely get 135 up on bench press because of my right arm. I usually can rep out 225 easily. This is such a frustrating thing to deal with and just wondering if there's a light at the end of the tunnel if anyone else has dealt with this before.

You haven’t fully recovered enough for that much weight. You are stressing the nerve again. You need to be exercising light right now. Nerves are slow healers.

A long time! I have dealt with it for many years and mine never truly heals. My experience is very similar... no strength on bench and drastically reduced shoulder strength when it’s bad. It comes and goes, but always comes back eventually.

I had it my left arm last year, and after it was relieved, it took me about 5-6 weeks to get to where I was before the issue. Basically from struggling with 185 due to the issue, back to 275.
This year, it’s my right arm. At 185, the compression increases and I start to struggle. 205x2 is the best I could hit a few weeks ago and it was an extreme struggle. I was told it’s probably a nerve compression at C6-C7 in my neck.
The disc is in pretty bad shape, so it looks to be the culprit. I’m seeing a PT and I have a Chiro working with me on it, and I borrowed a small air operated cervical spine decompression device to use AM and PM. I lay down, strap down my head, gently tighten some pads at the jawline and manually use a hand pump to slowly stretch the neck to ~10lbs for 5-10min.
Where I actually feel the issue is just inside my right shoulder blade and it radiates down my arm while lifting.
I hope I can clear this up by the end of May.

Yep, That's exactly what's going on with my right arm. I have no muscle tension in my right shoulder/Arm/peck and the pain shoots down my right arm. And to think I did this just by sleeping the wrong way kills me. I went to bed fine one day and then woke up with the worst pain ever. Like I could barely walk my shoulder, arm, and neck hurt so bad. The pain is finally gone for the most part but still no muscle tension. Couldn't have got it at a worse time while try to get ready for the beach vacation I have coming up. If you work out light does the muscle still build? I don't want one side to diminish while the other is ripped

How long have you been dealing with it this year?

It started in late Feb/early March.
Hit 275x3 without any issue on 2/20 and I started having pressing issues on the right side not too long after. In mid-March, I barely locked out 275x1. The right arm started lagging behind. It slowly worsened where I can’t go heavier than 205 now.
I bought a new pillow to assist sleeping on my back and side. I’ve always slept easier on my stomach, but that’s the worst position which I assume hasn’t helped me over the years.
I’ve woken with both arms/hands being dead from nerve pressure over the last year, but not much at all since getting the new pillow.
