Pain in left shoulder blade

I don't think it's muscle related. IE worked out too hard and did damage, no injuries. I may have somehow slept wrong, but my range of motion is limited from the pain. Made a Dr. appointment for tomorrow but could it possibly be something more serious that I should go see a Dr. now? The pain is pretty intense, but with COVID packing hospitals I can hold out for a day unless it could be something major.

Is it from your C6/C7 down to your shoulder blade or just your shoulder blade like a scapula or something?

Anytime I’ve ever had pain in that area it’s been a nerve issue. You very well could’ve pinched a nerve in your neck and it’s causing pain there
