P90X (or similar) vs Gym Routine

I've been doing P90X/2/3 off and on for a couple years now. Lately P90X3, mainly due to time and working out at home. This could also include things like T25 or Insanity. These programs tend to focus a lot on body weight exercises and core fitness. I'm not looking to gain a ton of mass. Mainly get/stay fit, trim, and generally active.
I have access to a gym at work that I haven't really utilized. Should I consider switching over to a traditional gym routine, including some standard lifts like deadlifts, squats, cleans, etc? I haven't done this since college (8+ years) and wondering if I'm missing some tremendous benefits.
Obviously working out at home is a very convenient for me. I only have access to dumbbells, pull-up bar, etc. I'm not sure I could incorporate a lot of other moves with what I have available, but it's suited well for the P90X style routines.

It all depends on your fitness goals.
If you just want to stay in shape, and are satisfied with your P90X results then why change it up?
Unless you want to put on mass, or need increased functional strength for sports then I'm not sure that you are really missing anything.

I agree. I mean you are missing out on some benifits but if you wanna take your in home training to another level, go get a pair of wooden gymnastics rings and a set of parallelettes and starting following the building the gymnastics body series. I have it on my google drive that is linked in the op in the putthaforkdown thread.
