I want a vest for general conditioning walks and what not. I don't plan on doing anything too crazy in it, i.e. crossfit style metcons. I also want to get prepared for some Mardi Gras parades I'll be marching with the Fat City Drum Corps.

The vests I've seen so far aren't cheap, which I suppose they shouldn't be. But, before I pull the trigger and drop $100+, I'd like some recommendations from yall.

Thanks. Looks like it's sold by Mir. They make vests sold by Rogue Fitness. I wonder if they also manufacture this one.

Condor Plate Carrier

On sale for $42.00. has held up for 3 years so far with a decent amount of use. this one sits higher in my midsection than the 5.11 tactical one. easier for air squats and other general movements. doesn't move at all (even in hand stand push ups)

then get whatever size plates you want.

Gotcha. Do they serve the same purpose? Is one better than the other? I just want something weighted to wear for walks and such.

I use a plat carrier bc it more practical for my workouts and my fitness goals

Its also not as clunky as a traditional weight vest
