This is truly the issue. Trying to ramp up to 50 miles a week and finding the time to do it is very hard.....
plus why? much easier to just cut calories and you look & feel a lot better controlling calories, eating lots of protein and lifting progressively.

I enjoy running and like races.

I do this too, just not as much during the Fall/Winter.

If you enjoy cooking, become the chef, like 5 nights a week. My wife doesn't really like to cook much, but I love firing up the grill and throwing chicken, pork chops and steaks on it. Vegetables are super easy. Just steam them or throw them in the oven with some garlic salt and pepper. If you make something starchy, just cook half of whatever it is. We will cook a baked potato and split it between the two of us. Throw extra meat on the grill and she can take it for lunch.

great...most people do not. would prolly say 95% of the gen pop doesnt and is looking for best bang for their time to look much better naked and be healthier. thats why i always recommend diet and lifting.
but if you love running, more power to you....i used to until the army ruined it for me.

Agree with the plans yall have laid out.
Diet is numerous uno.
2nd is walk an hour a day
3rd integrate 2 to 3 days of full body (lower half focused) strength work.
Easy to follow and cannot fail if followed to a tee.

even if she starts with bodyweight work and a band and does pushups, banded rows, face pulls for upper body then lots of squats, lunges, RFESS, hip thrust(even single leg), kick backs, etc she would see big time results.

Amen. Women need to hit the arse and legs with a vengeance as most of them carry more fat there. maybe some shoulders and triceps for asthetics.
Simpler the better just starting out. Walking is easy to recover from and can do it every day. I live by it.
