My Keto experience and a question

Started Keto 10 days ago, down 8.5 lbs. Cravings come and go but getting better and I don't get hungry like I used to. Have to make myself eat sometimes. This eating plan is for real.
Question for those that have done this. I have been getting dizzy and tingly at times the past few days. Is this normal, is this me starting to fat adapt? I drink plenty I think. TIA.

It's important to up your salt content on keto also. Not sure if that could be the culprit

Yeah looking at my old notes it's possible you aren't getting enough salt and it's causing low blood pressure. But that's just a guess. I'd go to a doctor if that problem persists.

Thanks. I snack on salted almonds and put Tony's on any meat I consume except bacon. Will watch more closely.

Watch some Dr Phinney YouTubes. He's huge on electrolytes. And he just happens to be the Godfather or modern nutritional ketosis.
If I'm not eating enough high electrolyte foods I'll take a pinch or potassium citrate and take a mg tablet. Be careful though. Read up on dosages. Potassium citrate can kill you in high doses and Mg can f up your stomach. Salt is salt. Hard to OD.

I find a Powerade zero helps when I feel like this.

Like the guys said above, your probably need more electrolytes. I have been doing Keto for 3 months and have gone from 235 down to 210. One thing I noticed pretty quick is that I would lose energy. That’s when I stumbled across these 2 videos and it changed everything.
Adrenal Fatigue
Replenishing Electrolytes in Fasting
These apply to fasting and the Keto diet. Good luck

Thanks. Drank half a bottle of Powerade Zero and voila. Felt better in ten minutes.

Thanks wryder, those were very informative. I have been eating two of those Atkins bars for a snack daily. Wondering if they may be screwing up my carb total even though they are low in "net" carbs? I use them to squash my sweet tooth. What do you think?
