Then how is my spins per minute higher than yours, but your distance is like 500m further? Im just trying to figure these statistics out

What is the suggested spins per minute?

From what I read the experts say, it should be between 25-30

2k - 7:22

Yet to do 1k, best 2k is 7:00

I don't know how comparable times are across different brands/styles of rowers. I know the water rowers post faster times than the same individual on a concept2.

Best I see for me is:

1k - 3:50
2k - 7:24

But both were during some pretty harsh workouts.

I'm gonna go for broke and see what I can get. This could be a fun and motivating little thread.

Fine! Lunch break tomorrow, I'll get my best 1k and 2k. Ill try to build from there. Will update tomorrow.


ETA: 1k @ 4:10. I only went HAM the first minute and a half or so. I was whooped after that, so I went back to regular speed for the remainder of my workout. 30 mins, total distance of 6150 meters.
