Looking for recommendations for a multi vitamin for men. Just finished two month supply of GNC Megamen, but was not too impressed. What do you all use?

The best answer is just to eat vegetables & fruit full of micronutrients. I feel like multivitamins are a sham.

Granted this is not the answer you are looking for, but it's a much better alternative.

I stopped taking multivitamins when I read about studies that showed a positive correlation between vitamins and mortality. Now correlation doesn’t mean causation, but it wasn’t a positive sign and it made vitamins seem like a harmless waste of money, at best.

Talked to a pharmacist about multis before and he told me the cheap ones were just as good as the expensive ones.

bro, an MVI in an MVI.

what didnt impress you about the GNC vitamins? they are literally all the same. dont overpay for GNC crap

Vitamins provide your body with what it needs as a supplement to a good diet. you wont see any difference in any vitamin

go to walmart and get a huge jug of equate vitamins. save some bread.........you are welcome

Vitamins are not equal. There are different types of the same vitamins sourced from different things. Like the cheaper calcium is sourced from rocks. Lots of minerals are sourced from rocks. You obviously don't digest that type of vitamin very well.

There is no point in taking a multi unless your diet is shite. As a previous poster said, there is quality data suggesting a higher risk of death, especially due to vit e.

Everyone should get a full micronutrient panel done every year and then supplement with what you need. Otherwise, you are throwing money down the drain and potentially hurting yourself.

What if your iron levels are high, and you are taking a multi with iron for example.

I did a full panel and I was low on Biotin and Copper, so now I just take biotin, Copper, magnesium glycinate, and a d/k2 combo.

I also know I have a b12 binding thing that causes me to have high as shite levels of b12, so your average multi is a waste.

Know things, then supplement.

I used expensive vitamins from Purity Products but then I realized how dumb I was. I got my triglycerides lowered by changing my diet and avoiding massive amounts of carbs and fried foods.

I do supplement vitamin D3 as a yearly blood test showed a value of 28. The value should be around 50.
