21% higher in short term use, 74% in long term use. I'm sure they will do a parallel study on testosterone therapy in men, if they aren't already. LINK

I wish I was smart enough to dissect studies like this. What is the mortality rate between hypogonadal women who receive versus don’t receive HRT? Was hypogonadism controlled for? Is it just as easy to say hypogonadal women have increased mortality? I don’t know, 74% is a higher rate than smoking, is HRT more dangerous than smoking? is this an actual risk reduction, or relative risk reduction.

So avoid hormone therapy and just deal with the regular dementia?

Maybe people are supposed to age without trying to cure it with drugs.

Studies have shown that the cognitive benefits TRT give you are on par with what caffeine would give you. It wouldn't increase dementia as that's genetic.
