Just had a small spot on my arm removed last week. The surgeon said it was about 4mm in diameter and 0.3 mm in depth. He said I didn’t need to have the lymph nodes checked because of the small size. Have a nice 4” long scar on the forearm. Anyone else had any experience with it? I feel fortunate I got it early. It Did not look like your classical mole (irregular shape or multicolored). Go back to the Dermatologist in June. I’m sure she will do an even more thorough check then.

Wear sunscreen!

When I said it did not look like a classical mole, I meant it to mean a classical mole with melanoma. It really just looked like a regular mole. It did not have the features you see when you see pictures of moles with melanoma. Sorry if it was confusing
