Day 13: 37:13

Forced myself to go slower today. The workout was still brutal. My body felt sluggish. It may be time for a day off soon. I have one to give, trying to decide when to take it.

Day 14: 38:19

Went to Delacroix and fished all morning. Came home around 3 after cleaning fish and had to go do this workout. It was not fun after being in the sun all day. Today was one of those days where you just show up and get it done!

Day 15: 33:19

Really thought long and hard about taking a rest day, but instead forced myself out there and had a pretty solid day. I didn’t feel like I was going fast. I guess I’m just getting better.

Halfway through!!!!

Day 16: 31:24

Beat my best time without really trying. Felt pretty good today. Was able to keep short rest for 15 rounds and then went for it the last two rounds. It gassed me at the end, but it was worth it.

I’m thinking I may be able to do sub 30 min before the 30 days are over with, which is pretty fast. My fastest “rounds” have been 55 seconds, with most averaging between 1:05-1:15. Sub 30 would be an average of less than 1:30 a round, which is tough. The burpees really pump the heart rate.

Kinda late, but this will be good to jump in on. I don't really have anything to do pull-ups with unfortunately. I'll try to incorporate some other shite.

Day 17: 30:56

Beat my best time again today. Really felt strong today. Must have been the luck of the Irish!

Will force myself to go slow tomorrow, because I’m feeling the last two days. I am definitely seeing results in the mirror as well. My fat pinch definitely has less fat in it as well and is softer, which is good, that usually means it’s shedding.

Day 18: 34:43

Forced myself to go a lot slower. Honestly, not sure how much faster my body could have gone. Muscles were sore and tired today. That is to be expected, especially since the last two days of going all out. I’ll be back at it tomorrow. Stay safe friends.

Day 19: 34:41

Felt like I was dragging arse all day. Decided to get out there and get it done. Hurt, but close to the same time as yesterday. It’s funny how my slow times now are so much faster than 2 weeks ago. I’m thinking about taking the one rest day soon, just don’t know when.

Hopefully you guys are out there still pushing with all the craziness.

Day 20: 35:48

Had an awful workout today. My body has been pretty tired. I’m going to take that rest day on Sunday I think. It really depends how my body reacts to a workout today. I’m definitely ready for this thing to be over. However, two thirds through!!!

Day 21: 31:25

Had intentions to go at a faster face for the first 10 rounds the. Slow down dramatically. Got threw the first ten rounds faster than ever. Was able to slow down an extra 15-20 second between rounds and coast through to post a solid time.

I really thought today I would sputter and definitely take that rest day tomorrow. I may rethink things.

Day 22: 27:47

Absolutely crushed it today. Spent most of the day working on my boat, had to drive from NO to Cabela’s to get a part. While there at lunch I crushed a Sonic Double cheeseburger meals, with tots of course. Had every intention of taking a rest day. However, I said to myself that just pushes out this challenge another day. Felt good in the early going and there was a nice breeze going. So I decided, frick it, let’s see if I can sub 30 min. Was breezing through up u til around round 15. For the last 5 it was just adrenaline, and the rush of beating 30 min.

I never thought this time was even possible. What an incredible feeling. I’ll be paying for it tomorrow though. 22 days down!

Day 23: 28:54

Went from not knowing if sun 30 was possible to two sub 30 min workouts back to back! If found my rhythm. It’s all about pace and not wasting energy on movements.

7 days to go. This one is a bitch and I’m ready to be done!

Day 24: 32:49

Took it easier today. Not sure if my body could have gone much faster. Feeling the effects of the last two speed days big time. I’m ready to get this bad boy over with. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel however, and there’s no chance I’m giving up now.

6 more days...

Day 25: 36:52
Felt awful. Was tired and sluggish. My body didn’t have much in it today. Being 35 years old and 25 days in, I guess I really just need a rest day. Regardless, 5 days left!!!

Day 26: 29:25

Was feeling like I may be sluggish, but was able to keep my breathing and heart rate down and push out my 3rd fastest time. I once read “it doesn’t get any easier, you just get better”. I feel like this month has proven that to be true. Some days I just have t had it, and some days I can tell how much better I have gotten in a short amount of time.

4 days left of this workout. I had also given up beer during this time. I can wait to pop a top to celebrate the end of this one.

Day 27: 32:32

Worked out at home due to all the pull up bars in the city being on lock down. I hate working out on the doorway pull up bar. At least I got it in. 3 more days...

Day 28: 33:36

Didn’t have it this morning. Did the workout around 8am. I think doing it on only 13 hours rest was too much on my body. Although my time wasn’t horrible, it was probably the second hardest workout I’ve had all month.

Looking forward to only 2 more days left!
