Randomised Controlled Trials Comparing Low-Carb Diets Of Less Than 130g Carbohydrate Per Day To Low-Fat Diets Of Less Than 35% Fat Of Total Calories
Skimming through twitter, someone posted this list of 58 RCTs of low carb vs low fat. Figured it needed posting here. Most are dietary intervention studies of varying carb levels - not your lab tested iron clad science. Some are cross-overs though I didn't go through all of them.
The more I think about it, I'd say this better reflects real life. The subjects are out and going about their life, and effortlessly lose more going low carb - probably why we see such success on it.
