Taking methylprednisolone and cephalexin for two insect bites that were infected. On day three. Four days left. The steroid is at least on a diminishing schedule (only three pills scheduled for tomorrow I think).

I feel better and there’s just some residual itchiness around the bites.

I’m not thinking I’ll go for a long run in the heat or anything, but I’d like to get my weight lifting workout in scheduled for tomorrow.

That okay?

StringedInstruments,

I showed this message to my wife and she said lift like normal and listen to your body. She was not concerned at all.

Well...is your wife a pharmacist? Cause I could have asked my wife too but she wouldn’t know jack shite about it.

Haha..my wife thinks she is a expert on many things

She is actually a PA in internal medicine and said she would tell all healthy males to follow the dosage, enjoy your workout and stay hydrated..of course she said she isn't giving you medical advice because you are not a patient haha.

12 years , not sued yet haha

I'd pretty much agree. If you're up for it, go for it. I typically re-do the previous lift or take a tad weight off when I am medicated or just have some random thing going on. I may be crazy, but I have those safety bars there for a reason. I'm not one to push things those so take that for what it's worth (free).

I asked my gf, who is an attorney, and she said you can keep working out. And if you choose to sue Rsande63, she’ll represent you

I lifted this morning. No torn muscles. Hamstrings did cramp during squats but that’s become routine for me.

That shouldn’t be routine. You have an weakness you need to address. Could be bad mobility in your hips. Just my not so expert opinion, I would STRONGLY suggest asking an expert.

A yoga instructor once told me I have the tightest hips he’s ever seen. So probably that. I also have anterior pelvic tilt and poor ankle mobility.

So yeah. I got shite to work on.
