Are you having meniscus issues or osteoarthritis? Like I said earlier, I’m not well versed in the peptides, but I have lots of knowledge on steroids and hyaluronic acid injections because I do those injections all the time.

Osteoarthritis. I have 100% bone on bone on the inside of my knee and on the outside, 75% of the cartilage is gone on the outside. That's what my Ortho said the MRI showed.
Steroid injections about every 4 months supplemented with a steroid dose pack at about 2 months... I've done 2 rounds of the gel injections... they help for a time... but that time is getting less and less. The Ortho said PRP could work, but probably not... the only actual cure is to get the knee replaced. I know this... but if I can put it off, I'll do so. I'm walking about 4 miles a day every other day... was doing 6 every day... my thinking is when I get down to only being able to go every third day or drastically cut my distance down to 2 miles or so... then it'll be time. Ain't gonna lie, it's a bitch.

You spend the entire thread calling me an idiot and then ask for advice

You could at least be a useful idiot. Besides… I never called you an idiot. An a-hole and a little runt? Yeah…. But in all fairness, you act like an a-hole in every single thread you post in.

Yea you’re doing all the right things. I normally do get shot every 6 months with steroid shots in between at 3 month intervals.
The usual line we use is to keep the injections going until they don’t work any longer then it’s time for the replacement. Most patients usually tell me that they wish they had it done sooner.

Or when it begins to affect your actual walk. As in... since the cartilage is gone on the inside of the knee, the knee "bends" to the inside because that's where the space is, completely changing the way I walk, stand, etc. As in... "Why are you limping" gets asked alot. That right there SHOULD tell me it's time.

I just read all of your posts in this thread and you know absolutely nothing about medicine or the laws governing it
Many of you need to learn how to read

No, we read just fine. So it's not that.

We read just fine. Some of us need to learn how to stay in their lane little guy.

Yes, my original comment was criticizing Jose not knowing what BPC-157 is.
Your response had to do with physicians not being able to administer it. Of which I made zero comment and is only tangentially related to the conversation at best.

Your lane is prescribing whatever the latest rep tells you to and believing whatever the latest speaker bought by big pharma tells you

No that’s actually not what I do. I do enjoy talking with the reps about new and improving treatments for diseases out there. Now that I’m out of school, residency, and fellowship, it helps me stay current.
For example is Ubrelvy. It’s a great new medicine that the reps came talk to me about.

But you SHOULD spend your time learning about peptides that you can only get from sketchy internet sites that may or may not contain what you think they contain that you can't legally administer. Because they have "buzz" about them out there. That's what you SHOULD be doing.

People like Dr. Peter Attia, Dr. Rhonda Patrick and Andrew Huberman do it, so I’m sure some PCP that’s in the peptide business anyway could
But I guess it’s better to remain ignorant for e-cred

Thanks, just confirming you’re excuse that BPC not being FDA approved was bullshite You know what the latest rep tells you, which is fine, lots of lazy doctors out there, just don’t get upset at me for calling it out
The above quote is the problem. It’s perfectly legal and acceptable medicine to write a prescription for off label use of a medicine
Prescribing or even SUGGESTING a patient use something that’s not FDA approved or is a banned substance is not. Please stick to being a shitty bookkeeper and leave the medical advice to those that know what we are talking about

Cool, I didn’t say he should

The ones prescribing hormone therapy after a 15 minute phone call?
Or the ones that have led the American people to be so fat and out of shape they have to be kept alive?
Sure thing
