For real though, I wasn't being snarky. I really wonder how the baw's doing.

I wonder how the OP who started this thread 9 months ago is doing.

Thanks for asking. I'm doing great and I'll update everyone next time I get my labs done. My last labs had my A1C at 5.9 last October. This was done through diet and exercise alone.

I'm still holding steady at 176-180 pounds (I was 218 at my heaviest), and I'm still eating clean for the most part. I cut out almost all empty carbs, and I eat a high protein/fat diet. No calorie counting. I just don’t eat trash or fast food. I’ve stuck with the walking/running and lifting regularly. I’m still walking/running 3 miles at least 3 times a week and lifting (full body workout) 2-3 times a week. I feel great.

I was prediabetic about 10 years ago. I ate what I thought was right, lifted weights, rode my bike 120-150 miles per week. Didn’t matter, A1C was high. Learned how to eat a keto diet, actually backed down on so much riding and now my numbers are perfect. 57 years old.
I’ve dabbled with carnivore for a few weeks but it can get difficult with kids family etc.
