Jerk Box Questions

I was planning on building a set of jerk boxes. I’m sure I’m overthinking it and it probably won’t matter. But I wasn’t sure which direction the supports inside the box should run.
The boxes that Rogue make run parallel to the weights.
The boxes for the DIY plans I found have the supports running perpendicular.

Probably can’t go wrong either way. Perpendicular looks to me like it’d be more stable but it’s hard to argue with Rogue. They know their shite.

If they are for your use, the DIY design is sufficient, and probably easier to build.

The DIY version is exactly how I built mine. They were rock solid.
