Mine was 8 about 3 years ago. Curious what comes next time.

Unfortunately, IMO, CACs are basically obsolete now. Showing a 0 there is certainly not a negative sign, but it is possibly distracting you from an underlying reality.
The gold standard now is a Cleerly scan. There's no guesswork: it shows you exactly what is going on.
You very well MIGHT yet have non-calcified blockage - which, by definition, does not show up on the CAC...AND is more dangerous.
Just get a Cleerly and be done with it.

This is the answer. I work in cardiology, and i can tell you that the Ca Score is a good test for revealing the amount of calcified plaque, but the most dangerous plaque is low-density non-calcified plaque, and Cleerly is the gold standard now for revealing this. We do CTA's daily and send to Cleerly at the office I work at. Can't beat it for all-around risk stratification.

Yeah, that’s the kind of stuff I wanted to hear when I started this thread. I already communicated to my PA that I wanna have that done at my next exam.

I have nothing to contribute to the conversation, but this gave me an unexpected laugh. I'm 49 and my daughter is 13. Sometimes I do something on the phone and she's says, "Dad! You're doing so good for an older guy. I didn't even know that."
