Curious if anyone has an opinion on potential negative effects from frequent, long-term use. Im a xfitter, periodically do yoga. Low back is sore after heavy lifts, sometimes get sharp but short pains in SI joints. My parents have an inversion table, ill stop by and use it a few times a week if there is a nagging pain. The stretch feels nice, but dont know if theres a price to pay. Appreciate any thoughts.

I have one and use it from time to time for my lumbar. About half of people who use it get a benefit from it, and others not so much. You do not have to be completely vertical to get an effect from it. I generally go down to about 45-60 degrees below parallel and get plenty of traction and back relief from it. I'll do it anywhere from 1-5 minutes, but I've heard some can hang longer than that.

Important note: DO NOT use if you have a history of blood pressure issues, or any retina issues with your eyes.
