How often do you guys find yourselves having to buy new clothes

Just spent $800 on new clothes because the clothes I bought as recently as 10 months ago no longer fit me. I haven't gotten any fatter, but I have really gained decent muscle in my upper body and therefore it felt like the shirts and tops I already had were going to rip any time I bent forward or extended my arms forward. Also had a shirt that was cutting off my circulation
As I was buying clothes I was wondering if I should buy what fits me best now or perhaps a size up to give me room to grow. I went with the first option and just bought what was the most flattering fit currently.
Fortunately my bottoms are all still fine and didn't have to replace those.

I only buy now for where I want to be.
If you can realistically gain and maintain more muscle that requires a larger size, then buy that size and don't look back.
Burn the ships because we ain't going back

I spent over $1000 on an entirely new wardrobe last May because I had lost 60 pounds and the clothes I had were too big.
Now the ones I bought last May are too small

I actually kept my clothes. I’m losing fat, but my chest is getting bigger so my clothes fit better. Same with my pants. They fif better at the waist, but my legs got bigger.
