Already answered, but disc replacement. If nothing else works and surgery is your only solution, ask about disc replacement instead of a fusion. My wife had it done in January and 4 months later was cleared without any restrictions for activity. No more pain, etc.

your neck is in bad shape my friend...surgery is the only option if you want to be pain free long term....longer you tolerate the numbness and tingling in your finger and spasms in your shoulders your chances of being symptom free after surgery diminishes. I think u need 2 level surgery...hopefully disc replacment...ASAP
Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks.

My friend had the surgery. Made a full recovery. Competed at a strongman nationals competition some months later.

The best remedy for my disc bulge was hot baths, ibuprofen, and rest. Physical therapy didn’t do shite but aggravate the pain. You have to take a long time off from training whatever exercise that could re-aggravate the injury. It took me nearly a whole year of rest and no training for the pain to go away 100%. It’s not going to go away in 2 weeks

I woke up one morning from a normal sleep and my shoulder blade and neck were hurting. So I didn’t really “injure it.” I presume it’s a degenerative condition.

In that case you should get an MRI to confirm it. One MRI can easily confirm if it's degenerative disc disease or stenosis
