I hadn't worked out since high school and found some motivation 6 weeks ago and joined crossfit. Absolutely love it. Well broke my wrist playing volleyball yesterday and I really don't want to get unmotivated/eating like shite again during recovery time. Any suggestions on what I can do? Much appreciated.

I'm in a similar boat. I had a big hand surgery a couple months ago. Dr. wouldn't let me workout for 10 days. Been going to therapy for my hand for 6 weeks so I couldn't do any upper body stuff. Just now starting to get back to lifting light weights. I basically cut back on eating and did lots of cardio. Lost about 10 pounds through the process.

Work the other arm. It will minimize the muscle lost in your injured arm.

Yep. Body wants symmetry so it will compensate to a degree.
