My gym in Metairie (Fitness Connection) has sadly closed. I loved this place. It was usually empty, little outdated and had enough equipment to get a good workout. Work out 3-4 times a week and mostly do free weights and some cardio . Joined Planet Fitness near my house in River Ridge just to get by, but its just weird going in there. Any suggestions for gym in Metairie, Harahan area would be appreciated.

Elmwood fitness has multiple locations that are pretty nice.

They may be Ochsner fitness now.

I workout at the Anytime on Vets. Not my favorite Anytime, but it is not the worst I've been to either.

Zoo in Kenner is alright. The new planet fitness in Kenner stole away all the lazies so it's never slammed anymore and they've got enough equipment to see you through. Really cool crowd there too, everyone is willing to give advice or a spot if you need it. Just wish they had more equipment.

EJ wellness center. It's mostly old folks, but there is some eye candy in there too

I'd recommend Revolution in Metairie where TGI Fridays used to be back in the day. They'll let you down some free workouts to see if it's for you.
