Personally would not recommend anxiety meds. You will get through it on your own - stay off of your phone, go for walks outside, focus on your personal goals / family, eat right, exercise. You’ll feel normal again in a few months

This is the way

This sounds very similar to me at this time last year.

Regarding muskuloskeletal... Have they mentioned costochondritis? This was my eventual diagnosis along high blood pressure.

I was 19, in Orlando for LSU vs Iowa Saban’s last game - lost on Hail Mary ??. A few days before game I was having severe chest pains and panic attacks. Went to a walk in clinic and they did an EKG and immediately put me in an ambulance to the hospital. They ran all kinds of tests and talking about heart attacks and just doing an awful job of keeping me calm. They eventually decided I would stay the night to do stress test at 5am the next morning. Did the test which was normal and gave me GI cocktail (cured it all briefly) and said it was Acid Reflux……went to GI back in BR and had endoscopy showing a hiatal hernia with chronic reflux. Started nexium daily and 22 years later it’s still controlled.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. A few years ago, I also had similar chest pains and I was very stressed and dealt with anxiety.

One thing that helped me was I cleaned by diet up. For me i cut out excessive starchy carbohydrates and I started taking a magnesium supplement.

I still deal with some of this anxiety. I don’t want to ask too personal of a question, but is there something that non-physical going on in your life causing this? Is there guilt, or maybe you’re a new dad raising a family? This is a big one for young men who want to raise the family to the best of their ability. Most likely this is a mental and/or spiritual problem that hasn’t been resolved for some time.

Anyway, God bless, I hope you’re can at least pinpoint where this is really coming from.
