I’ve started carnivore and I recently read an article where Charles Poliquin suggested taking a gram of fish oil per body fat percentage until you have leaned out. I’m probably between 20-25% body fat and 25g of fish oil seems absurd. Anyone ever heard of this?

I’ve heard nutritionists say that if you had to choose only one supplement to take per day, fish oils would be the 1; especially if you are on a traditional western diet.

As far as 25g, that’s a shitload. It would 10x the dose of my current fish oil.

That’s what I thought, apparently he was saying do that routine for no more than 30 days and then drop back on the dosage. I’m guessing that he is trying to get the person fat adapted but he never really gave his reasoning. He has trained an insane amount of olympians so I assume he knows what he is talking about.

Maybe you take so much fish oil it makes you want to lose weight faster.
