Anyone tried the "How much ya bench?" program from Aaron Ausmus?

I'm trying out this 4-week program to try to really put some pounds on my bench press before going back to my regular linear progression program. This has been my first week, and it's hitting chest pretty much every day. I'm going to get tired of bench press, but I'm gonna stick with it for the month. I'm starting out with a max of 255 on bench, so I'll try to update at the end of it to let you know if it works.

Programs help but when you learn the proper techniques, you'll get up there faster.

Last year I helped someone that had a Max of 250 and been there for years get to 335 in a few months by teaching him a couple of techniques. Told him to just do a 5x5 and every 5th and 6th week run higher volume.

He told me he no longer has shoulder problems too.

This guy is the head strength and conditioning coach at USC, so I'm assuming there is some sort of science behind the program. Just needed a month away from my regular routine to try something new.

Okay but is he teaching you the techniques?

I'm just trying to help you get better at benching.

I have run through this one a few times from Bill Geiger.

3x per week
Monday: 3-5 sets x8
Wednesday: 3-5 sets x1
Friday: 3 sets x3-6 reps

It also includes lifts for other body parts in there to maximize your bench.

I always treated the Wednesday as a climbing 1 rep max day by hitting 265, 280, 295, 305 & 315. If 315 felt great, make a run at 325. It’s supposed to be an explosive day.

He teaches technique through his instagram. He discusses drive and the importance of using your feet in the bench press among other things. I understand it's just short instagram videos, but he does discuss technique in them. The workout is just a program that I received through a friend that said it worked for them.
