My wife has been on nearly every one of them known to man, for chronic depression. Nothing has worked long term so far. The latest is abilify, her second try at it. Made her feel great for a month then stopped working altogether. The dirty secret no one talks about is that 20% of the population are nonresponders.

That sucks. I took Prozac and in less than a week I felt so much better. I would try an anti psychotic but I'm not a physician.

Handful of vitamins each day but small 5mg dose of Mirtazapine daily.
