Nope. Front squats are good for quad development. High bar is too but not quite as good. Low bar is for the most weight and uses a good bit of the hamstring, glutes, back, and quads.

This would be the only reason I would do them, but then again, I could just dead lift. See, zero reason for low bar or assisted front.

Just think where the bar is compared to where your center of gravity is. That can tell you where the emphasis will be. Low bar is closer and uses the most muscles.

I love doing front squats. I do both on my leg days. Then follow those up with pause squats. I like squats.
