Anyone had stem cell or Prolotherapy for injuries?

I have a ruptured disk and am trying to avoid surgery at all cost.
My father had Prolo done on his shoulder and it worked but the back is a lot more technical.

A very good friend of mine will be going to Denver for some stem-cell, genetic joint therapy.
Ill let you know what he tells me.

Get the surgery, have a neurosurgeon do it rather than an ortho. If you have a ruptured disc, that means pieces of disc are floating free in your spinal column and whoever they come I. Contact with a nerve, pain results. A surgeon needs to pick those pieces out of there. No stem cell therapy will help with that.
