Anyone do intermittent fasting by skipping dinner?

ETA: Will it be more effective since you don't burn much energy why sleeping? I feel like a fair amount of dinner calories get stored to fat because the energy isn't needed to sleep.

I do. I stop eating at around 4. I can manage easier in the 6-7 hours after I last ate before I go to sleep than the last 5 or so hours the next day at the end of the fast. I want my coffee in the morning and I don't drink it black.
Also I don't want to go to bed with a full stomach. It works for me.

I do the opposite but good for those who can go to bed hungry.

Yes, I am about 20lbs down since March. Right at about 1-1.5 lb a week. I aim to keep it off so that's perfect progress for me. Also I'm been trying to build muscle and I know I have more lean muscle mass now too, so it has probably worked better than the scale indicates.

I don’t necessarily skip dinner but move it up to about 5. I go to bed at 9ish. I’m up at 6ish and don’t eat until 11-12. I’m just getting back into it this week.

I normally wake up at 4am, go to the gym at 4:30am, eat my first meal a dozen eggs ~2pm and have dinner at 4-4:30pm. After that I’m fasting until 2pm the next day. I still eat dinner my family just eats 4-4:30pm.
