Any of you guys try bucket 8s for squats?

Bucket is in the name because you usually puke during the workout.
After warming up, 8 sets of the following with 1 min rest between sets. % of your 1RM.
65% x 8 Front Squat
70% x 8 Front Squat
75% x 8 Front Squat
80% x 8 Front Squat
65% x 8 Back Squat
70% x 8 Back Squat
75% x 8 Back Squat
80% x 8 Back Squat

Looks like German volume training. I've never done anything like that before though. I have tried Widowmaker squats and about passed out. You do a weight that you can do 10 Max and do 20 in a single set without racking the bar. Didn't matter how long it takes.

We did a STUD squat routine in high school. Everyone maxed out. Then the coach had a program. It was a pyramid type workout every Monday. 10/8/6/4/2 with slightly increasing the weight each time. Like 5-10 pounds each set, but on the 2 set you did them until you failed. Squat Til U Drop was what STUD stood for.

I've done it a little. Back squat first, Front squat after, then squat jumps after that. Matt Bruce was the first person I had seen to program this years back. It sucked.
