Long story short, long time ago I tore a hamstring, went back to lifting without rehabbing it properly, which lead to hip instability in my squat, which resulted in a torn spinal ligament, which resulted in a bulging disc. That's the most likely chain of events in terms of causation, but the only thing confirmed for sure is the bulging disc via MRI I took like 4 years ago.

Basically, the situation had stabilized, and I had reached an equilibrium to where if I lifted too heavy, the pain would start up again, but if I stopped lifting altogether, the pain would also start up again. Dull ache, not nerve pain, which seems to point to something with those facet joints.

Two months ago I went from sitting in a chair about 45 hours a week to about 90 hours a week, and whatever that equilibrium was, I seem to have fricked it up completely. Now I can't sit without pain, cant stand without pain, cant fricking do anything but lie down flat on the floor, and now even kratom doesn't help. Chiropractor felt my psoas and the right one felt like rope and hurt like hell with almost no pressure. He said for now, start with some sretches for that and my hip flexors, but I cannot get this damn muscle to release. It's like it's stuck in a contracted state, and it's pulling my lower lumbar sideways.

Anyone ever experience anything like this? I'm a stomach sleeper, and I think I have a tendency to fall asleep with my right knee rotated externally, dont know if that has anything to do with this or not though.
