I played at Copper Mill today. I shot well, the course was almost empty, but the heat has burned up some greens. The greens are sanded and crusty and the fairway grass is sparse.
Also had a few of these around the greens. Scared the snap out of me the first time I saw it.

Must’ve changed it up again out there since I’ve played, but usually tournaments finish on what I guess you would call 2 by the clubhouse.

Played the bluffs today, absolutely a shame that the number 1 course in the state is in such bad shape. Greens had complete dead spots that looked to be sinking, bunkers were absolutely unplayable and the place was deadpan in the fairways. Shame that such a great layout is in disrepair.

Played English Turn today. Greens rolled well and the course is in great shape. Traps are well maintained as is the rest of the course.

Looks like we have delays on i35 from Riverside all the way to William cannon coming in to downtown. Wreck on far west blvd, expect delays. New wreck at bee cave and 360 causing major delays. I’m Joe Taylor skywatch traffic
