I have been watching since Thursday, and usually watch a good bit of every major, but Tiger being in contention has kept me locked in. No matter your feelings on him, golf is greater with Tiger.

Very entertaining round for sure. Tiger blew is chances but he also hit some absolutely ridiculous shots he had no business making

It's not even a question. Tiger is the needle in any event. His grind has been unreal, but I think he lost this bad boy on the back 9 (his front) Thursday.

Tiger playing and competing near the top is great and all, but I'm not any more likely to watch just because he's playing.

Those who are probably aren't that big of golf fans in the first place. And that is why Tiger has done for golf more than what any single person has done for another sport that I can think of.

Golf desperately needs one of these “next big thing” players to step up and become the next big thing.

Well you aren't like several million people then.

I don't have particularly strong feelings towards golf one way or the other, and it can be exciting without him, but I have a hard time rooting for anyone else other than him. Everyone else just seems like carbon copy clones.

I don't think you fully appreciate how great Jack and Tiger were. It's not very likely anyone dominates at that level over the number of years that Jack and Tiger did. What they accomplished was outrageous. We'll see several guys do it for a year or 2. But, I'd be shocked to see someone do it for longer.

I watched the whole way thru, and I'm not much of a golf fan. It was because of Tiger.

I watched because of Tiger and I couldn’t get enough. That was fun. Now I’m going to bed. It’s 1AM here.

Would've been legendary and a great story for the media outlets all next week had he prevailed ultimately, obviously one would prefer the arguable GOAT golfer win this tournament but no dishonor finishing 2nd at this point maybe this sets a good precedent for a career comeback and he starts taking names in subsequent tourneys, we shall see

hard to say he blew it with the low round of the day. he would have needed a PGA Championship record of 61 to win today and PGA Championship record of 62 just to tie Koepka. Tiger lost it with his slow start Thursday.

He doesn't make golf great. Golf was great before him, has been great after he imploded, and will always be great.

If anyone blew his chances, it was Thomas. He should have won going away. Was tough to watch those short putt misses etc.
