What’s the best launch monitor that won’t break the budget?

Something I can easily bring to the range.

I have the $500 mevo. It works great but I know the other one has a lot more features.

The original Mevo is probably plenty good enough if he just wants distance and spin numbers.

I bought the Rhapsodo MLM and it was delivered Monday.
Took it to the range yesterday. Super easy to set up, did a good job of reading the shots, easy to look at the data afterwards.
Admittedly it’s only one day used so far, but I’m extremely happy with it so far. Was on sale for 299

I’ve been looking at that same deal thinking about pulling the trigger on it. I would like a launch monitor but also do not want to spend more than $500 on one either. Am glad to see you are happy with it.

Thanks.
I’ll decide between the Rhapsodo and Mevo after some research.

The garmin approach R 10 is currently $500
What I have heard from numerous people is that the Rhapsodo is superior "when it works" but the problem is, it just isn't as dependable as the R10

Update:
Took it to the course today, so I could see how it performed there.
I wouldn’t recommend doing that unless it isn’t crowded, as you need 6 shots to be able to engage the analytics (found out after leaving). I think it’s possible to go shot to shot, but I haven’t got the starting point gps figured out yet. It will do it for you when the session starts.
It didn’t miss a swing. I think when people aren’t recording swings it’s just because it’s outside the line or not the right distance. I’ve heard it doesn’t work as well with a net, but I won’t be using one.
The instant feedback CANNOT be overstated. I know from the swing after recording a few how far it’s going to go and how it feels when I’m getting off line.
My last 5 9 irons were 129, 131, 128, 134, 133. Clubhead speed 78 or 79 on all shots. Every one landed inside a 40’ circle.
I’m excited to see how the games and combines work, but I’ll want it at least in the 70’s before I try that. 50 is a little too cool for me.

Thanks. I’ll look at that one, too.
Need some range time before Carter on Saturday. I’ll probably do a quick lunch trip to Top Golf tomorrow.
Head to the office and a late Lunch at TG.

Saw one of the combine games on YouTube. Now I REALLY want to try that, but I have to get every club yardages before doing it.
Need some warm weather for the range time. Honestly first time in a long time I’ve looked forward to going to the range.

Update:
You can take it to the course and be effective. What you do is leave it on, and have the round be your session, you won’t be using the analytics as much as you’re moving around and not resetting the launch point. Just make a note on each hole for any comments you want to go over when you review after the round.
One of the things I’ve found on the range is I don’t have enough gap between my 4 and 5 iron, and a 25 yard gap between the 4 iron and 5w. I’ve struggled when I get in that range on what to hit, so looks like shopping for a 2 or 3 iron is upcoming if that trend continues. (4i was 180, 5w was 205, 5i was 177). So I need a 190-195 option. All numbers btw are carry yardage.

Hit the range and worked 90% on 7-PW and 10% with the driver.
Result at the course? 10/14 fairways hit with great drives but couldn’t hit my irons for shite consistently.
